New bharat brake motors are manufactured for various applications where stopping of driven load is required available in 63 to 132 frame size. The brake is applied when power to the motor is switched off or if low power occurs. The brake motor comes as an integral combination of ac induction motor and disc type fail safe electromagnetic brake unit where total load stopping line is not very critical. These brake motors are available with salient features such as 0.125 hp to 15 hp, 63 to 160 frame frame. These brakes motors can be applied in machine tools, printing machine, textile machinery, material handling equipment, general motors, rolling mill.
